Port checker
Check whether a port on your IP address or a domain is open and reachable from the internet. Useful when setting up port forwarding, cameras, game servers or remote desktop.
Test results
How to read the result
- Open port
- A service is listening on the port and is reachable from the internet. Keep open only the ports you really need.
- Closed port
- A connection from the internet failed. A firewall blocks the port, the router does not forward it, or no service is running on it.
- Forwarding does not work
- If your router has a different public IP address than this page shows, you are behind your provider's shared address (CGNAT). Port forwarding then has to be arranged with your provider.
