Cookies
Which cookies we use, what they are for and how you can change your consent at any time.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device. The browser's local storage works similarly. The website uses them to remember your settings.
Essential cookies
They are always on, because the website cannot work as you requested without them. We do not need consent to use them.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| mip_consent | stores your choice in the cookie banner | 12 months |
| mip-themelocal storage | remembers light or dark mode if you switched it | until you delete it in your browser |
The tool pages (ping, traceroute, port checker) use Cloudflare Turnstile bot protection. It runs in a frame (iframe) from challenges.cloudflare.com, stores no cookies on the MojaIPadresa.sk domain and serves solely to protect the service from abuse. Details are in the Privacy policy.
Analytics cookies
We use them only with your prior consent under Section 109(8) of Slovak Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on electronic communications. We measure statistics with Matomo running on our own server. Without consent, measurement does not start and these cookies are not stored.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _pk_id.* | recognises a returning visit without identifying you | 13 months |
| _pk_ses.* | links pages viewed during one visit | 30 minutes |
| _pk_ref.* | stores the page you came from | 6 months |
Advertising and third-party cookies
We use no marketing or advertising cookies. Fonts, icons and all website files load from our own server.
Consent and changing it
Consent lasts 12 months, after which we ask again. We remember a refusal for the same period so the banner does not bother you on every visit.
You can change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
