IP lookup
Enter an IP address or domain and we will show what public databases say about it: country, city, provider, AS number, network and approximate location on a map.
How to read the result
- Provider and AS number
- The organisation whose network operates the address. The AS (autonomous system) number uniquely identifies its network on the internet.
- Location
- It is only approximate. It often shows the provider's headquarters or a data centre, not where the device is actually connected.
- Hostname
- The reverse DNS record of the address. The name often reveals the provider or connection type. Not every address has one.
